Post office at Queen and Parliament

According to the sign out front, the Canada Post in the Shoppers Drug Mart across the street is set to open today:

For some reason, our corner is going crazy for pizza.
Today, I stopped into the soon-to-open Magic Oven at 360 Queen St. East, and talked to the owner, Tony about my little WiFi project. He said they plan to open for tomorrow night, Friday the 20th.

CBC.ca looks better when it’s broken?

So, cbc.ca crashed yesterday. For a long while, this “Temporary Site” of news headlines was all you could see:

But once everything was back to normal, cbc.ca looked like this:

Am I the only one who would rather regularly visit the “Temporary Site?”

We’re back from Germany, and guess what? We’re married!

The view from my workspace

They’re building something huge just east of the Toronto Broadcasting Centre. And every single day at work, we get to watch them build it. Once in a while, the cranes lift something huge just a few feet from my desk.
